Preparation

• Remove all loose rust, dirt, grease and salt using a detergent or White Spirit. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow time to dry.

Application

• Ideal application temperature is 8 to 30ºC. Stir paint thoroughly before use.
• By brush: apply 1 coat and allow 2 hours before applying topcoat.
• By spray: no thinning is required and apply 1 coat. Set spray gun at 25/35psi and use fan at maximum volume.

Cleaning & Storage

Remove as much paint as possible from equipment before cleaning. Wash equipment thoroughly with water. Special Metals Primer should be stored in a dry well ventilated area. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. DO NOT EMPTY PAINT INTO DRAINS OR WATERCOURSES.
